What Are Our Bags Made From?

Most of our bags are made from a mix of cotton canvas and/or faux leather (PVC-coated fabric). These materials are chosen for their style, durability, and ease of care.

Caring for Your Faux Leather Bag

Our faux leather is a PVC-coated polyester that features:

• UV resistance & colour fastness
• RESISTAIN® finish for enhanced cleanability
• Flame retardancy
• Antibacterial treatment to resist mould and mildew

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Regular cleaning: Wipe down with a damp, soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild pH-neutral soap solution.
• Spot cleaning: Use a soft cloth or baby wipes. Avoid scrubbing or harsh chemicals.
• Avoid: Steel wool, solvents, bleach, abrasive cleaners, and petroleum-based products.
• Storage: Store your bag in a dust bag when not in use, and keep it out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
• Protect against damage: Avoid contact with rough surfaces, sharp corners, or metal jewellery that could scratch the surface.
• Dye transfer caution: Light-coloured faux leather can absorb dye from dark clothing (especially denim), so take care when pairing.

Our canvas bags are built to be durable but benefit from some simple care practices:

Cleaning Tips:

• Spot clean: Use a clean, white or neutral-coloured cloth with mild detergent and water. Avoid soaking the fabric.
• Water protection: Consider using a fabric protector spray like Scotchgard™ (especially for lighter-coloured canvas).
• Dry thoroughly: Let your bag dry completely before use.
• Dye transfer caution: Just like faux leather, light canvas may pick up dye from darker fabrics.
